Rotor efficiency: the efficiency of the rotor in deriving power from the available wind power.

Run of the wind: the distance that an anemometer indicates that the wind has traveled. This is an integrated distance that may be derived from a rotating element attached to a rotary indicator. A scale factor would convert the number from revolutions to miles of travel.

Wind rose: a radial plot that shows the prevalence of wind shown as a star of vectors whose lengths vary in proportion to the percent of time that the wind blows from that direction. Sixteen directions are commonly used.
